Meeting

Don't forget Tuesday, March 6 is our club meeting at at Enzo’s Italian Chop House Restaurant in Manakin Sabot, VA (Directions).

The following dates are reserved for work days at Action Town in Dillwyn to help prepare for the CVTR sponsored VCHSS race. (Directions to Action Town)

 

March 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th

 

Be on site and ready to work at 10:00 AM, we want to start sending work parties out at 10:00 this year to make the most of everyone’s time.

 

We will be assigning 1 mile sections of the main track to parties of about 3 people. Our goal is to spread out the work force to accomplish more in less time. Please remember what mile you are assigned so you can return to it on following dates if needed.

 

What needs to be done to Main, Mini and Horizon courses:

  • Mark trees on courses
  • Clear and clean trail – please bring pruners, hatchets, trimmers, gloves
  • Remove all old trail markers and signs from all race courses
  • Fix bridge
  • Hang mile markers on courses

Reminders:

  • Please sign in once you arrive to the work day, print so we can record attendance.
  • Besides riding to work area, there will be no riding of bikes during the work day until the work has been completed.
  • The club property is closed to riding during work day hours.
